Creative repositories

Create a creative project, publish revisions, compare changes, and collect feedback.

Save and return to creative work

Saves belong to your account and work across devices. Saving a private project does not grant access or change visibility. The account library supports up to 200 saved links across repositories, snippets, and discussions.

  1. Sign in and choose Save in a project preview or studio header.
  2. Open Saved in Creative repositories to see saved projects you can still access.
  3. Choose Saved again on a project to remove it from your collection.

Start a creative project

  1. Sign in and open Creative repositories.
  2. Choose New project, enter a name, and choose your account or an organization as owner.
  3. Choose public or private visibility. Public projects can be viewed without signing in. Private projects are limited to their owner and organization members.

Publish a revision

Sources must be 20 MB or smaller. Supported formats include images, PDF, PSD, AI, Sketch, Figma, Blender, and supported 3D model files. A PNG, JPEG, WebP, or AVIF preview must be 8 MB or smaller. Raster images generate a preview automatically. Supported 3D models can generate one in your browser; supply a preview if generation is unavailable.

  1. Open the project and choose Publish update.
  2. Drop one source file or choose it from your device. Each revision contains one original file.
  3. Add a title and describe what changed. Expand Preview and tags to supply a preview or select a specialized viewer.
  4. Publish and wait for the upload to finish. Your older revisions remain available.

Before you continue: A creative repository stores file revisions and feedback. It does not use Git branches or accept folders as a revision.

Review and compare

Download source retrieves the original file. Interactive previews are available for supported models and Minecraft assets. Design sources without a rendered preview still support downloads and general feedback.

  1. Open a project in the studio and choose a source or revision. Its original file, notes, and feedback open together.
  2. In the explorer, select two revision checkboxes and choose Compare selected. In the studio, use Compare and choose any two revisions. Wipe, Split, Difference, and Blink inspect rendered previews; source downloads remain available for all formats.
  3. Sign in to add feedback. On image previews, use a pin to identify a location; general feedback works for every source type.
  4. Resolve or reopen feedback using the controls available to you.

Find work that needs attention

Discover shows public work beside a large preview. My studio shows projects you can edit, including your organization’s projects. Saved shows projects bookmarked in your account. Search by project or owner, filter by visibility or owner, and choose Needs review to find unresolved feedback. Sort by recent updates, creation date, name, revisions, or open feedback. Your collection, filters, and selected project stay in the URL.

Manage access and revisions

Personal project owners and organization owners or admins can change project settings. Organization members can publish and manage revisions. Signed-in readers can leave feedback on projects they can access. Use revision actions to edit details, set a cover, or delete a revision. Deleting a revision also deletes its feedback and cannot be undone.

Before you continue: If an upload fails, keep the dialog open and retry with the same draft. If you lose access, ask the organization owner to review your membership.
