Set up your profile
- Create an account or sign in to an existing one.
- Open Settings to review your display name, profile, and email settings.
- Complete any verification requested before using protected features.
Protect sign-in
Open Security settings to manage the sign-in and recovery controls offered by your account. Review passkeys, password settings, and recovery codes where available. Keep recovery codes private and stored somewhere you can access if your normal sign-in method is unavailable.
Review sessions and connected apps
Review active sessions after using a shared device. OAuth connections and browser sessions are separate: signing out of an editor does not necessarily sign your browser out. Revoke an app connection when you no longer need its access.
If sign-in stops working
- Check that you are using the intended account and browser profile.
- Use the recovery option offered by the sign-in screen.
- If a passkey is unavailable, choose another configured sign-in method.
- Avoid sharing passwords, recovery codes, cookies, or authorization links in support reports.
